birth

When I talk about 'birth' at bump & glide, I'm not simply referring to the birth of your baby, but also to the birth of you, as a mother.

Motherhood can often be challenging and I strongly believe that if you begin this incredible journey with a positive experience of birth, you'll start with the best energy to carry you through the initial challenges that having a newborn can throw at you.

When you train for a sporting event, do you wake up one morning, put on an old pair of pumps and pound the streets without having worked out the route or done weeks or even months of training? Labour, birth and the postpartum period should be thought of as the ultimate event to prepare for and this is where I come in!

A bump & glide course is a wonderful way to prepare you for the birth of your baby, whether it's your first or a subsequent pregnancy and it's so much more than a few breathing and relaxation techniques! It's a comprehensive course providing you with the information and knowledge you need in order to go into your experience aware of your options and the implications of the decisions you make.

If you use hypnobirthing techniques you will have a hypnobirth, irrespective of the type of birth you have and where you give birth to your baby.

By understanding how to work with your body, not against it, you'll help you and your baby have a positive start to this exciting new adventure.
