How to prepare?

The excitement of a growing bump can sometimes overshadow the things you - and your employer - need to think about when preparing for labour, birth and the postpartum period but no need to worry... That is where I come in!

How much time did you spend planning your wedding day, finding then purchasing your first home or organising a milestone birthday event? Did you rock up on the day saying to yourself 'I'll just wing it and see what happens?' Chances are you spent weeks, if not months, fine-tuning the smallest of details to get as close to what you wanted as possible.

bump & glide perinatal courses provide expectant parents, and employers, with a tool box for labour, birth and the postnatal period.

Preparing for birth and beyond allows couples to consider all their options, irrespective of the type of birth they want, and have. Whether you live next door to friends and relatives or on the other side of the world, a bump & glide course sets couples up to enjoy a positive experience of birth and beyond.

And for employers who have solely focused on the maternity leave and pay element to date, a policy update is required, even more so in the world we're living in today.
